A MESSAGE FROM THE HEAD

Dear Parents/Guardians

The follow up visit from our 2023 inspection took place last week. Estyn stated that we had made progress in all our recommendations. However, they agreed with the school that we still needed to make further progress in these areas and hence, our recommendations remain the same. They agreed with us that attendance still needs to improve. You will be aware that attendance is a major factor in your child’s development and progress in education and hence, attendance is a school priority. Can I take this opportunity to urge you to work with the school and, the Local Education Authority, to maximise your child’s attendance.

The report will be published next week and will be available on Estyn’s website or via a link in the school website.
