Dear Parent/Guardian,

I hope that you are keeping well under these extraordinary circumstances. We are now looking forward to the Summer term and hopefully a more normal school experience for the children.

Normally we would allow pupils to wear the summer school uniform after Easter. However, We are well aware as a school that the current financial climate is very stressful and money is tight for everyone.

Furthermore we are conscious of the fact that there will be a new uniform available for you to buy for the start of the new academic year in September.

This will be a redesigned school uniform with our new school badge, including a compulsory blazer for KS4 students (year 10 and 11).

As a result of this we have taken the decision to continue with the current uniform of shirt, tie and jumper until the end of the summer term in July.

However, the school will allow at our discretion, for the pupils to wear PE kit should the weather become hot, in order that children feel comfortable and cool in school.

If you have any worries or concerns please do not hesitate to contact myself for KS4 or Mrs Anderson for KS3.

Kind regards

Mrs Sian Humphries
Head of Upper School.
