Dear Parent/Carer

We have received notice from Estyn yesterday, that our school will be inspected from Monday, 20th March 2023 to Friday, 24th of March 2023.

As part of the inspection process,

Estyn would like views from parents/carers of pupils in our school. Please therefore, use the link below to complete a parent/carer survey. Survey link:

The survey will close on the 12th March 2023

In addition, Estyn also wish to hold a meeting with Parents on Monday 20th March at 5pm. The following agenda will be discussed, which will include any issues identified from the above survey:

  1. How happy and safe your child is at school
  2. How well the school communicates with you, asks for your views and addresses any concerns that you have
  3. The effectiveness of teaching and the progress your child makes
  4. How well the school uses homework to extend your child’s learning
  5. How well the school keeps parents informed about the progress your child is making
  6. The range of the curriculum offer, for example opportunities to be creative or to develop physical skills
  7. How effectively the school encourages positive attitudes to learning, such as self-assessment, collaboration and perseverance
  8. The part parents/carers and the community play in the life of the school #
  9. The support and guidance available to pupils, for example those with special needs
  10. The extent to which the school promotes its safeguarding culture, including how well it promotes equality, diversity, anti-bullying and respect for others
  11. Other issues identified by the lead inspector e.g., from the analysis of the parent/carer and pupil questionnaires
