SPORTEC – SCHOOL UNIFORM ORDERS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dear Parents\/Carers<\/p>\n

Please find Important information regarding School Uniform.<\/p>\n

School Uniforms can be purchased direct via Sportec:<\/p>\n

School uniform<\/strong><\/h4>\n

All school uniform must be purchased from Sportec Embroidery.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Click on the link provided on the school website – Sportec<\/strong> Uniform Sales for full uniform price lists and you can also place your orders if you should wish.<\/p>\n

A high standard of personal appearance is expected of all students and anyone arriving at school in non-uniform clothing may expect to be sent home to get changed. Fashion trends will not be accommodated.<\/p>\n

Key stage 3: Year 7, 8 and 9<\/p>\n

  • Plain white tailored shirt with collar (School logo polo shirt is permitted in the Summer Term only)<\/li>\n
  • School tie<\/li>\n
  • School logo V-neck Jumper. KS4 ONLY wear the blazers.<\/li>\n
  • Black tailored trousers or skirt (not skinny jeans with studs or rivets or leggings)<\/li>\n
  • Plain black socks\/tights<\/li>\n
  • Completely plain black leather shoes (no coloured logos or soles)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      DISTINCTIVE CLOTHING AWARDS<\/strong><\/h4>\n

      The school, through the local Education Department, makes allowances to some pupils attending school, subject to eligibility by assessment, towards the cost of distinctive school clothing.<\/p>\n

      Parents seeking further advice on this matter may contact the School Office.<\/p>\n

      HAIR AND GENERAL APPEARANCE<\/strong><\/h4>\n

      Parents are expected to encourage pupils to observe acceptable standards in dress and appearance. Hair should be a sensible length, style and colour. Vision must not be impeded by hair. Make-up must not be worn in school, and neither should hair cosmetics be used, especially in the Science Laboratories and Technology Workshops.<\/p>\n

      JEWELLERY<\/strong><\/h4>\n

      The only jewellery which may be worn in school is one small plain stud in the lobe of each ear.<\/p>\n

      No Facial Jewellery of any kind is acceptable as it contravenes our school\u2019s health and safety risk assessments.<\/p>\n

      When pupils are found wearing either multiple earrings in the ear or facial jewellery they will be asked to remove it and hand it to the teacher.\u00a0 Failure to comply will result firstly in attendance at the pupil inclusion Centre and can ultimately lead to exclusion from school.<\/p>\n

      VALUABLES<\/strong><\/h4>\n

      It should be clearly understood that all items of personal property are brought on to the school premises at the owner\u2019s risk. The school cannot be held responsible for any losses incurred and no claims for reimbursement for any losses sustained will be entertained.<\/p>\n

      MOBILE PHONES<\/strong><\/h4>\n

      Cefn Saeson practices a strong no-mobile phone policy. It is strongly recommended that mobile phones be left at home. The school cannot accept responsibility for the loss or damage to such equipment.\u00a0 If a pupil\u2019s phone is seen it will be confiscated and held in a secure place until the end of the day.\u00a0 If the pupil is found to regularly use their phone in school parents will be asked to come and retrieve the phone and have a meeting with the head of year to discuss the issue.<\/p>\n
